Perfect for beginners, our wheel throwing package offers a relaxing and creative escape. 

What will I make? 

With 6 classes, you will make up to 6 pieces to bring home! (If you made more than 6 pieces and wish to keep all of them, we will glaze and fire them for you @$10 per additional piece)

What will I learn?

Week 1: Introduction to Wheel-Throwing
- Discover the fundamentals of centering clay on the wheel.
- Practice shaping and crafting basic pottery items.

Week 2: Trimming
- Enhance your pieces by removing excess clay.
- Learn techniques to refine the form and balance of your pottery.

Week 3: Wedging
- Kneading the clay to remove air bubbles and create a uniform consistency

Week 4: Making Attachments and Scoring

Week 5: Intro to shaping your basic cylinder into a bowl

Week 6: Glazing and Decorating
- Explore a variety of glazing techniques to add color and texture.
- Personalize your pieces with unique decorative designs.
- Complete and prepare your pottery for the final firing.
